规定的方法适用于数值在30 mg/l和700 mg/l之间的水。氯化物含量不得超过1000 mg/l。如果数值超过700 mg/l，则应稀释水样。为了获得最大的准确度，样品的值最好在300 mg/l至600 mg/l的范围内。

Method specified is applicable to water with a value between 30 mg/l and 700 mg/l. The chloride contents must not exceed 1 000 mg/l. If the value exceeds 700 mg/l, the water sample is diluted. For greatest accuracy it is preferable that the value of the sample is in the range of 300 mg/l to 600 mg/l.
