ISO 10439规定了用于石油、化工和天然气服务行业的离心式压缩机的设计、材料、制造、检查、测试和装运准备的要求，并给出了建议。它不适用于比大气压力高35 kPa以下的机器，也不适用于ISO 10442中涵盖的成套整体齿轮传动离心式空气压缩机。

ISO 10439 specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing and preparation for shipment of centrifugal compressors for use in the petroleum, chemical and gas service industries. It is not applicable to machines that develop less than 35 kPa above atmospheric pressure, nor is it applicable to packaged, integrally geared centrifugal air compressors, which are covered in ISO 10442.
