本国际标准规定了船体结构钢维护和修理的质量要求散货船。它不适用于双层散货船。ISO 15401中给出了钢制散货船的建造要求。

This International Standard specifies the quality requirements for the hull structure maintenance and repair of steelbulk carriers. It does not apply to double-skin bulk carriers.Requirements for the construction of steel bulk carriers are given in ISO 15401.
