本国际标准规定了用于石油和天然气钻探的通孔设备的性能、设计、材料、测试和检验、焊接、标记、搬运、储存和运输的要求。它还定义了设备设计所针对的压力、温度和井筒流体方面的使用条件。本国际标准适用于以下特定设备，并对其规定了要求:a)闸板防喷器；b)闸板、封隔器和顶部密封件；c)环形防喷器；d)环形填料单元；e)液压连接器；f)钻井线轴；g)适配器；h)连接松动；i)夹具。尺寸互换性仅限于末端和出口连接。本国际标准不适用于钻穿设备的现场使用或现场测试。

This International Standard specifies requirements for performance, design, materials, testing and inspection, welding, marking, handling, storing and shipping of drill-through equipment used for drilling for oil and gas. It also defines service conditions in terms of pressure, temperature and wellbore fluids for which the equipment will be designed.

This International Standard is applicable to and establishes requirements for the following specific equipment:a) ram blowout preventers;
b) ram blocks, packers and top seals;
c) annular blowout preventers;
d) annular packing units;
e) hydraulic connectors;
f) drilling spools;
g) adapters;
h) loose connections;
i) clamps.

Dimensional interchangeability is limited to end and outlet connections.This International Standard does not apply to field use or field testing of drill-through equipment.
