ISO 15817:2005规定了在ISO 6165中定义的土方机械上使用的无线和/或有线远程控制系统的安全要求。ISO 15817:2005不适用于使机器能够在没有操作员协助的情况下工作的自动控制系统，但适用于由操作员远程控制的机器。它不适用于非远程控制机器上附件的远程控制。ISO 15817:2005未规定远程控制系统的性能标准。

ISO 15817:2005 specifies the safety requirements for wireless and/or wired remote control systems, used on earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.ISO 15817:2005 does not apply to autonomous control systems that enable a machine to work without the assistance of an operator, but is applicable to machines controlled remotely by an operator. It does not apply to the remote control of attachments on non-remote controlled machines.ISO 15817:2005 does not specify performance criteria for the remote control system.
