ISO 1832:2017制定了硬质切削材料或任何其他切削材料中刀具常用类型可转位刀片的命名规范，以简化此类刀片的订单和规格。它还规定了尖端和固体立方氮化硼（BL、BH、BC）嵌件以及尖端聚晶金刚石（DP）嵌件的名称。

ISO 1832:2017 establishes a code for the designation of the usual types of indexable inserts for cutting tools in hard cutting materials or any other cutting materials, in order to simplify orders and specifications for such inserts.It also specifies the designations for cubic boron nitride (BL, BH, BC) inserts, tipped and solid, as well as polycrystalline diamond (DP) inserts, tipped.
