ISO 3924:2010规定了测定石油产品沸腾范围分布的方法。该方法适用于在本国际标准确定的大气压力下最终沸点为538°C或更低的石油产品和馏分。ISO 3924:2010不适用于汽油样品或汽油成分。该方法仅限于沸点范围大于55°C且蒸汽压力足够低的产品，以允许在环境温度下取样。ISO 3924:2010已成功应用于生物柴油含量高达10%的样品。

ISO 3924:2010 specifies a method for the determination of the boiling-range distribution of petroleum products. The method is applicable to petroleum products and fractions with a final boiling point of 538 °C or lower at atmospheric pressure as determined by this International Standard. ISO 3924:2010 is not applicable to gasoline samples or gasoline components. The method is limited to products having a boiling range greater than 55 °C and having a vapour pressure sufficiently low to permit sampling at ambient temperature.ISO 3924:2010 has successfully been applied to samples containing biodiesel up to 10 %.
