ISO 16143-2:2004规定了由最重要的耐腐蚀不锈钢等级制成的一般用途半成品、热成型或冷成型棒材、棒材和型材的交货技术条件。除ISO 16143-2:2004外，ISO 404的一般技术交付要求也适用。ISO 16143-2:2004不适用于通过进一步加工产品制造的部件，其质量特性因进一步加工而改变。

ISO 16143-2:2004 specifies the technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products, hot or cold formed bars, rods and sections for general purposes made of the most important corrosion-resistant stainless steel grades.In addition to ISO 16143-2:2004, the general technical delivery requirements of ISO 404 are applicable.ISO 16143-2:2004 does not apply to components manufactured by further processing the product, where quality characteristics are altered as a result of such further processing.
