ISO/IEC 25435:2006规定了最大容量为1.8 GB的60 mm只读ODC的机械、物理和光学特性。它规定了物理格式、记录信号的质量、数据的格式及其调制方法，从而允许通过这种ODCs进行信息交换。ISO/IEC 25435:2006规定了两种类型的ODCs，类型A和类型B:类型A:单层磁盘，最大记录容量为0.9 G字节；B型:双层磁盘，最大记录容量为1.8 G字节。

ISO/IEC 25435:2006 specifies the mechanical, physical and optical characteristics of a 60 mm, read-only ODC having a maximum capacity of 1,8 Gbytes. It specifies the physical format, the quality of the recorded signals, the format of the data and its modulation method, thereby allowing for information interchange by means of such ODCs.

ISO/IEC 25435:2006 specifies two types of ODCs, Type A and Type B:

• Type A: Single layer disk with maximum recorded capacity of 0,9 G-bytes;
• Type B: Dual layer disk with maximum recorded capacity of 1,8 G-bytes.
