本国际标准规定了该产品的高效液相色谱（HPLC）方法预混料和动物饲料中卡巴多含量的测定。本方法适用于卡巴多质量分数为0.5 mg/kg（限值为0.5 mg/kg）的动物饲料定量）至100 mg/kg，并与质量分数不超过10%的卡巴多预混。检测下限为0.1 mg/kg。注1:对于动物饲料，carbadox的质量分数以毫克/千克表示，对于预混料以质量百分比表示。注2:卡巴多是一种属于喹恶啉类的化疗药物。卡巴多被用作促生长剂仔猪饲料添加剂。

This International Standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for thedetermination of the carbadox content in premixtures and animal feeding stuffs.The method is applicable to animal feeding stuffs with a mass fraction of carbadox of 0,5 mg/kg (limit ofquantification) to 100 mg/kg, and to premixtures with a mass fraction of carbadox up to 10 %.The lower limit of detection is 0,1 mg/kg.NOTE 1 For animal feeding stuffs the mass fraction of carbadox is expressed in milligrams per kilogram, and for premixturesas a percentage by mass.NOTE 2 Carbadox is a chemotherapeuticum belonging to the quinoxaline group. Carbadox is used as a growth-promotingfeed additive for piglets.
