This document reviews characterization of CNT and CNF aerosols for inhalation exposure studies. This document neither provides guidance on aerosol characterization for other carbon nanomaterials, nor provides guidance for characterization of carbon nanotube and nanofibre aerosols in the workplace or ambient air.
