通过在550°C的氮气中对试样进行热解，然后在900°C的马弗炉中进行煅烧来进行测定。根据煅烧前后的质量差计算炭黑含量。测定时，聚乙烯管道材料中的炭黑含量应为2,50,5%（m/m）。

The determination is carried out by pyrolysis of a test portion at 550 °C in nitrogen followd by a calcination in a muffle furnace at 900 °C. The carbon black content is calculated from difference in mass before and after calcination. When so determined the carbon black content in polyethylen pipe material shall be 2,5 0,5 % (m/m).
