本国际标准规定了动物饲料中脂肪含量的测定方法。这个本方法适用于除油籽和油籽残渣外的动物饲料。在本方法中，区分以下两类动物饲料。样品B类产品在提取前需要进行水解步骤。B类:动物源性直接饲料，包括奶制品；蔬菜源的直接饲料，未经事先水解不能提取脂肪；特别地:麸质、酵母、大豆和土豆蛋白，以及热处理饲料；含有上述产品的复合饲料，其含量至少为脂肪含量的20%源于这些产品。A类:B类中未提及的动物饲料。注:对于油籽残渣，通过己烷萃取测定“油含量”的方法见ISO 734-1[2]，而ISO 736[3]中规定了通过乙醚萃取测定“油含量”的方法。对于油籽，ISO 659[1]规定了通过己烷萃取测定“油含量”的方法。

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the fat content of animal feeding stuffs. Themethod is applicable to animal feeding stuffs except oilseeds and oilseed residues.For the purposes of this method, the following two categories of animal feeding stuffs are distinguished. Samples ofproducts in category B need a hydrolysis step prior to extraction.Category B:straight feeds of animal origin including milk products;straight feeds of vegetable origin from which fats cannot be extracted without prior hydrolysis; in particular:gluten, yeast, soya and potato proteins, and heat-treated feeds;compound feeds containing the preceding products in such quantities that at least 20 % of the fat contentstems from these products.Category A:animal feeding stuffs not mentioned under category B.NOTE For oilseed residues, a method for the determination of the "oil content" by hexane extraction is specified inISO 734-1 [2], whereas a method for the determination of the "oil content" by diethyl ether extraction is specified in ISO 736 [3].For oilseeds, a method for the determination of the "oil content" by hexane extraction is specified in ISO 659 [1].
