ISO 11346:2004规定了根据长期暴露于高温下的结果估算橡胶耐热性的原则和程序。指定了两种方法:一个使用阿伦尼乌斯关系；另一个使用WLF方程。耐热性的估计仅基于暴露于高温期间导致的选定性质的变化。橡胶的各种性能在热老化时以不同的速率变化，因此不同橡胶之间的比较只能使用相同的性能进行。

ISO 11346:2004 specifies the principles and procedures for estimating the thermal endurance of rubbers from the results of exposure to elevated temperatures for long periods.Two approaches are specified:

1. one using the Arrhenius relation;
2. the other using the WLF equation.

The estimation of thermal endurance is based solely on the change in selected properties resulting from periods of exposure to elevated temperatures. The various properties of rubbers change at different rates on thermal ageing, hence comparisons between different rubbers can only be made using the same properties.
