第二版取消并取代第一版（即ISO 2093:1973）。规定了金属制品上名义纯锡涂层的要求。涂层可能暗淡或明亮。本标准不适用于螺纹部件、镀锡铜线、半成品涂层、螺旋弹簧涂层、化学方法涂层、抗拉强度大于1000 MPa的钢材电镀。

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (i. e. ISO 2093:1973). Specifies requirements for coatings of nominally pure tin on fabricated metal articles. The coatings may be dull or bright. It does not apply to threaded components, tin-coated copper wire, coatings on semi-finished products, coatings on coil springs, coatings applied by chemical means, electroplating of steels with tensile strength greater than 1 000 MPa.
