ISO 7764:2006规定了一种制备天然铁矿石、铁矿石精矿和团聚体（包括烧结产品）的预干燥测试样品的方法，这些样品用于测定干基成分的分析值。该方法不适用于以下类型的矿石:含金属铁（直接还原铁）的加工矿石；硫质量分数高于0.2%的天然矿石或加工矿石；结合水含量高于2.5质量%的天然或加工矿石。

ISO 7764:2006 specifies a method for the preparation of predried test samples of natural iron ores, and iron ore concentrates and agglomerates, including sinter products, which are to be used for the determination of analytical values of constituents on a dry basis.The method is not applicable to the following types of ores:

1. processed ores containing metallic iron (direct-reduced iron);
2. natural or processed ores in which the mass fraction of sulfur is higher than 0,2 %;
3. natural or processed ores in which the content of combined water is higher than 2,5 % by mass.
