ISO 2418:2002规定了实验室样品在皮革中的位置，以及实验室样品的标签和标记方法，以备将来识别。它适用于所有类型的哺乳动物皮革，无论使用何种鞣制方法。它不适用于鸟类、鱼类或爬行动物的皮革。

ISO 2418:2002 specifies the location of a laboratory sample within a piece of leather and the method of labelling and marking the laboratory samples for future identification.It is applicable to all types of leather derived from mammals irrespective of the tanning used.It is not applicable to leathers derived from birds, fish or reptiles.
