将未组装的钢带分为三个质量等级，分别由（+++）、（+++、（+）标识，对应于表中规定的条件。这些质量等级的名称或名称可在国家标准中指定，前提是此类标准至少在注释中表明与ISO分类的关系。取代ISO/R 1324-1970建议，该建议构成了技术修订版。

Divides non-assembled strips into three quality grades that are identified by (+++), (++), (+) corresponding to the conditions specified in the tables. Designation or names for these quality grades may be assigned in national standards, provided that such standard indicate, at least in a note, the relationship with the ISO classification. Replaces Recommendation ISO/R 1324-1970 of which it constitutes a technical revision.
