该方法适用于锆含量在0.1%至1.0%（m/m）之间的合金。然而，该方法不完全适用于含有铅和/或铋的合金（见附录）。稀土、钍和银不会产生干扰。规定了方法的原理和程序、试剂、仪器、取样、结果表达和试验报告。

The method is applicable to alloys having zirconium contents between 0,1 and 1,0 % (m/m). However the method is not applicable completely to alloys having lead and/or bismuth (see annex). Rare earths, thorium and silver do not interfere. Specifies principle and procedure of the method, the reagents, apparatus, sampling, expression of results and test report.
