ISO 23529:2010规定了在其他国际标准中规定的物理试验中使用的橡胶试样的制备、测量、标记、储存和调节的一般程序，以及试验期间使用的首选条件。不包括适用于特定试验或材料或模拟特定气候环境的特殊条件，也不包括测试整个产品的特殊要求。ISO 23529:2010还规定了橡胶试件和产品成型和测试之间的时间间隔要求。这些要求对于获得可再现的测试结果和最大限度地减少客户和供应商之间的分歧是必要的。

ISO 23529:2010 specifies general procedures for the preparation, measurement, marking, storage, and conditioning of rubber test pieces for use in physical tests specified in other International Standards, and the preferred conditions to be used during the tests. Special conditions, applicable to a particular test or material or simulating a particular climatic environment, are not included, nor are special requirements for testing whole products.ISO 23529:2010 also specifies the requirements for the time interval to be observed between forming and testing of rubber test pieces and products. Such requirements are necessary to obtain reproducible test results and to minimize disagreements between customer and supplier.
