本国际标准规定了测定铬含量的电位滴定法钢铁。该方法适用于1%（m/m）至35%（m/m）的铬含量。钢和铁中的钒含量应小于1%（m/m），铬含量高于10%（m/m）对于小于10%(m/m)的铬含量，小于0.2%(m/m)。

This International Standard specifies a potentiometric titration method for the determination of chromium content insteel and iron.The method is applicable to chromium contents between 1 % (m/m) and 35 % (m/m).Vanadium contents in steel and iron should be less than 1 % (m/m) for chromium contents higher than 10 % (m/m)and less than 0,2 % (m/m) for chromium contents less than 10 % (m/m).
